2007 Winner of the "Star-Seeker" Entertainer's Showcase Award
aboard the Norwegian Cruise Lines ship, the "Spirit".
Flo grew up in Montreal and developed a strong reputation as a
top performer around the local music scene. Flo moved to
and started making headlines not long after arriving.
Flo appeared in a number of well received musical theatre
productions including The Boyfriend (Polly) and
Fiddler on The Roof (Tzeitel) and also toured with the
ethic folk dance troupe Nitzanim.. She has sung
as a member of the Calgary
Opera Chorus and community choirs and
has been involved
volunteer boards and organizations.
Ranking among Flo's most
memorable experiences are
the Lonesome Dove television series,
Calgary '88 Olympics, New
Year's Eve Millenium Ball 2000,
Calgary Folk Music and Folk Arts Festivals, Calgary International and
C-Jazz Festivals and performing with her band "Dynaflow"
as the opening act for such headliners as
Prairie Oyster, The Nitty
Rick Tippe, Lisa Brokop, George
and Patricia Conroy.
Flo has won numerous Kiwanis Music
Awards, been featured several times on Canada's
CBC Radio and Shaw TV and in January 2007,
was interviewed in Montreal for Radio-Canada Centre-Ville.

Co-Director for several
Flo has been an active writer and regular contributor to Montreals'
ME Magazine and since 2008, Flo has been actively involved in
projects for the Calgary Tom Baker Cancer Centre,
mounting her own musical showcase and concert in December 2008.
In July 2009, Flo was flown out to Toronto for a photo shoot
to be part of the Pin-Up Girls Vintage Glamour Calendar for the
Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and will be actively involved
in two upcoming functions for the Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation,
Paint the Park Pink and Fashion with Compassion.
A musical component is added to each of these,
whether Flo's own special brand of heartfelt, inspirational tunes,
or those of her extremely talented students.
Florence has worked with the Eric Friedenberg
Orchestra , the Klaas Craats Orchestra, Fun Company,
The David Grimstead Group Still Crazy, Festival, Twister
and her own party-dance-showband Dynaflow, Aura and
Blackboard Jungle of Edmonton ,
the 17-piece Lethbridge
Big Band , as well as City Lights, Nightshift and 1945 of
Montreal Quebec . She has performed at conventions,
corporate functions, social and special occasion events,
prominent fund-raisers and galas.

articulation and vocalization techniques, develop your personal
musical style and sense of musicality, practice a variety of musical
repertoire, for the love and joy of it, and the sense of accomplishment!
Flo's students of all ages have excelled, whether in
Youth Singers of Calgary,
The Young Canadians, for auditions,
Front Row Centre Players, Storybook Theatre
Calgary Junior Idol, Stampede Talent Search, personal
concerts and performance opportunities, song-writing
skill development and
open mike nights at Café Koi. Flo was
brought in earlier year to assist as a vocal clinician, consultant
coach to the vocalists in the band program at
St. Mary's Senior High School. She has also worked recently with students
from Western Canada High School and Strathcona-Tweedsmuir.
As an additional
experience and incentive, recording workshops
are also offered regularly through Flo's Vocal Arts Studio
in conjunction with Seventh Street Sound Studio.
